Final Fantasy Resonance is set to launch on October 22, and as exciting as a new Final Fantasy release is on its own, what's most compelling is that the game may be the key to saving live-service RPGs and other live-service games that have been shut down over the years. See, Final Fantasy Resonance isn't completely new. It's a reworked version of the now defunct mobile spin-off Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and brings it to consoles as a single-player experience.
