I enjoyed the original Heave Ho just enough that I was mildly excited for the sequel. It’s a great party game to break out whenever you have guests over, with simple enough controls that, even if they don’t play video games, they’ll pick it up pretty quickly. I thought Heave Ho 2 would be more of the same. It’s not. It’s more, and it builds on that simple concept in ways I wasn’t remotely expecting.
