Dragon Age has come a long way, but today, one of gaming’s most iconic fantasy RPG series is effectively dead. While Mass Effect survived Andromeda and later received the Legendary Edition to help smooth over that misstep, The Veilguard delivered an even harsher blow to the franchise. A remastered "Champion's Edition" of the first three games, which was once planned, could've been such a helping hand, but according to former series producer Mark Darrah, it is highly unlikely.
