Minecraft Cushions Don't Cause Lag, After All

Mojang just unveiled one of the most revolutionary new additions in Minecraft history... cushions. That might sound bizarre, but because they can align to any object's vertical elevation and come in every wool color, players are already using them to build everything from working chairs and dance floors to hyperspeed railways and elaborate traps. The only concern is that cushions are classified as an entity, not a block, and anyone who has experimented with minecarts or boats knows how quickly performance tanks when too many entities crowd a space.
