The world of Star Wars games is vast and spans decades, but there are a lot of projects that never even make it across the finish line. Another canceled Star Wars game has come to light after being reported by MP1st, adding to the long list of Star Wars projects that got the axe. According to MP1st, Echtra Games was working on a project called Star Wars: Magellan, but production was shut down when the studio closed in June 2025. The report's source is allegedly an anonymous ex-Echtra dev who had gameplay footage in their portfolio that revealed a third-person action game that also featured looter shooter elements.
